Removing Marked Coils

Marked coils can only be removed using the MDS Stocktake program. Removing marked coils in the MDS Stocktake program produces a yield report for the coils being removed from your system.

1. Open the Distribution System.

2. Select INVENTORY | ADJUSTMENTS | STOCKTAKE.

3. Enter a batch description and press Enter.

Micronet displays the Create Stock Take Batch screen.

4. In the Stocktake Method field, select Zero Completed Serial Numbers.

This option is reserved for removing completed coils.

5. Enter values for Starting Item and Ending Item.

This is the coil part number range.

6. Select CREATE ITEMS.

Micronet displays the Enter Start/Ending Date screen.

7. Enter a date range.

The date range relates to the completed date of the serial number. You can leave the range blank to load all completed serial numbers.

8. Select Accept.

Micronet scans your MRF system for serial numbers with coils flagged as completed within the date range, and then redisplays the Create Stocktake Batch screen.

9. Select PROCEED.

10. Without editing any serial numbers, select FILE | POST STOCKTAKE.

Micronet removes all completed serial numbers without changing any existing stock levels.
